I love all Jamaican movies but I prefer the older ones from the 1970's and early 80's, I feel that the plots and scripts were better. The only new movie from the late 90's and 2000's that I thought was well done was Dancehall Queen...but these are the ones I own....

Smile Orange, Body Moves, Country Man, One Love, Dancehall Queen, Third World Cop, Rude Boy....mi cyan memba di rest.

The most recent one i've seen so far is with Kumani Marley and the young girl who played in Dancehall Queen. That movie is soooooooooo good! It's called 1 Love. You guys should def check it out!

Awhile back I watched a movie called the Mighty Qwine and really liked it especially when they sung the song you aint seen nothing like the mighty qwine. Cheers!

I missed that one, but I did rub noses with an Eskimo once...actually she was half Eskimo and half Athapaskan Indian...it's a long story...

K i'm always really slow on the movie thing but FINALLY watched Shotta's the other night. I liked it but it was sad. And thank GAWD for subtitles cuz that was some patwah mi neva hear before! LOL

I watched Shattas, Dance Hall Queen and Lunatic. They were pretty good. Have Dance Hall Queen on Vid and I pull it out ever so often and give it a peep. Yes folks I still watch videos............ LOL LOL LOL LOL

I did like the line which was quoted in a previous post. “ Walk and live talk and b’cloth dead”…. it nice to see how versatile the actor is. If I am not mistaken isn’t he the same person who plays the roll as the Lunatic in “the Lunatic”?
