The Official S.W.A.T. Review:

Lots of eye candy for starters! LL Cool J flexin, Colin Farrel - yummy. It actually wasn't as action packed as I thought it would be but I still wasn't bored.
It was kinda cool learning a bunch of SWAT tactics that my son already invented and they used in the flic. And there's one real interesting twist about 3/4 of the way through....but I can't tell of course. I was surprised.
No sex, LL was the only one who cursed a lot, some fat, greasy Mexican guy got slapped in the head by a FINE ASS BROTHA!

Like I said, for the females lots of eye candy, for KC lots of other stuff.

JamCan, can you even recall the actual plot of the movie?. Seems the ladies will watch a movie like S.W.A.T just to drooool(eye candy?). Confession time

I was actually pretty impressed with this movie. Yeah, its pretty much your run of the mill cop drama but, for some reason I just enjoyed the hell out of it. Interestingly enough the gun handling in it was less "hollywood" than most movies in this genre.

Not the best movie I've seen last summer, but damn worth the money, damn worth it. I am getting it on DVD.

One more thing I'd like to add is that there was a bit too much "training" in it and not enough actual suspensful cop situations. Probably half the movie was spent showing us about the training of these SWAT members.

I'm still not dissin the movie at all, I really liked it a lot. But as KC said its pretty much your run of the mill cop drama. Also I thought Samuel Jackson was a little cool for his own good...I'm not a big fan of his.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The plot was good and the quality was great.
I did expect LL to do more though but with other more experienced actors he did well as a backup as well as the girl from The Fast & Furious. (yep Vin Diesels girl).

There wasnt as much gun action as you would expect with the name S.W.A.T but then again that is the whole thing behind a S.W.A.T. team. Get in get it done with as few casualtys and confrontations as possible.

Excellent movie, I would definitely watch it again.

Samba, what are you doing dissing us for liking the eye candy? If we have to watch some (yawn) plotless action flick, why not just let us enjoy ourselves. It is about time Hollywood paid a little more attention to our wants and needs instead of showering us with yet another topless scene.

And, women love to look at men. We may not trip over our feet, leave our tongues hanging out, get whiplash, or have our eyes pop out of our heads; but we notice everything.
