The Day After Tomorrow
Did any one see this movie? What did you all think?
Me personally....I got cold watching it! And then I started looking around the house for things I could burn if this ever happened to us! LOL

Re: The Day After Tomorrow
Nena I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
The difference between this movie and 9/11 is that at least the movie was a natural occurance.....its easier to handle knowing someone didn't diliberately cause it.

True, but seeing that movie and living in NY and the thought of NY being covered in water, kind of freaked me out! I drive through the Holland Tunnel everyday from NJ to NY to get to work and it's nerve wrecking! The terrorist threatned that tunnel before. Every morning I see police in the front and the end of that tunnel! But I have to say that the special effects of "The day after Tommorrow" was amazing!

Re: The Day After Tomorrow
The thought of ANY city being covered in water is chilling!!! Actually that movie reminded me of Independence Day, just because of the mass destruction. Amazing what they can do with effects. And amazing how it can make you feel.
Do they really have police at that tunnel every day??? Still??
