Dayummm! That channel is devoted to the Summer Olympics all day, so I guess I don't get to watch Burn Notice after all. Actually, I have been watching some clips of the Olympics--with interest--but I'd OD if I had to watch it all day! And frankly, there's some events that shouldn't even be in the Olympics, IMHO. Like badminton, for instance. Badminton? I mean, come on! And there's now talk about making golf an Olympic event. Personally, I like golf, okay? But it has no business being in the Olympics. (BTW, next time I play 18 holes of golf, I want GhettoGurl to be my caddy...I can't think of anyone else I rather hold my bag for me.

)

So, I don't know what I'll watch this afternoon...maybe Cold Case or Ice Road Truckers.

Had a nice lunch with my son yesterday, then we drove to Best Buy so he could pick out a printer for his new laptop PC (HS graduation gift from his mom). He was recently notified that he and his lacrosse team pal are assigned as roommates, and they've been communicating about who'll be bringing what--TV, dorm fridge, etc. Most of the dorms are three-story buildings, but they'll be on the eighth floor of the only high-rise dorm (12 floors!) on campus. He seems happy about it, though.

PS. Noticed during orientation when we toured the campus in June that there're condom machines in the laundry rooms of the coed dorms. How times have changed since I was in college...

You are going to have to schedule your life better then so as not to miss any new ones. They are getting so much better.

Olympics.....not my thing. Really don't care for them much.

I'm glad the new season is back up, I've slightly missed the mini marathon thursday morning but i keep missing the first few episodes when it comes around.

I agree JG, he is a cool tempered agent, his sidekick Bruce campbell is a handy man of soughts and the mother [Sharon Gless] smokes like a chimney. and finally the girlfriend is the action [take no shorts] kinda girl.

Dig the upbeat drum tempo in the new series...which, now that I think about it, sounds eerily like the drum beat at the start of the Stones' Symphony for the Devil.

Sam is very handy with the info and equipment, maybe a little too helpful. but fiona always get underestimated by the guy's B/C she's so small but handle herself pretty well. but michael do have very shady informants.
