Juss saw this movie the other night...it was incredible!!! Very moving and touching!!! Another one that is full of personal inspiration to do better and be more self aware!!

Saw it loved it....very powerful ****......was bawling during the scene where he was taking the gun away from his sonand telling him that his mother and sisters were waiting at home for him......oh man welling up just thinking about it.....

It was a'aite.
Filled wid action; but somehow I left feeling that it fell a little below expectations.

Maybe its becuase I expected that Djimon Hounsou would have been more "action" like.

But the script was well written and the cast, excellent.

bwoy mi always seh it, black ppl are our worst enemies. Look how the leader waan fi chop off hands just because the poor miner tek a simple diamond.

Leo Dicaprio really did a good job with his character, even his accent was authentic! Did anyone else think Dijmon look a bit darker, I know him naturally dark but did makeup artists go overboard?

The chopping the hands off was quite shocking... I couldn't believe how these peeps were treated!

Leo did do a great job....I have to admit I was a bit weary at first, but pleasently surprised with how he pulled it off. And I don't know about Dijmon looking darker, but he sure did a great job! I would have to say my favorite part about him was how his reactions were to the killing...like it wasn't something he felt comfortable with. What an awesome example of a father!!

I have to say I didnt quite buy the realtionship between Leo and the girl....it seemed sort of not really to fit into the story....a likkle hollywood romance...the movei could have stood without that part...

Well.... If it wasnt for her they wouldn't have had the transportation out of the refugee camp and a few other things.... she was juss used!!

that movie was rough, Dijmon really had quite a struggle to being separated from his family and not giving up.
