I didn't see a thread like this and thought it might be fun. We all have different tastes in movies--which is to be expected, so I'm sure nobody will agree...but that's okay--it's all just fun and games. (..till someone gets it in the ***, or at least that's how the saying should go)

I'll start off... my first nomination for worst piece-of-crap movie of all time was "Armageddon." Why? Partly because Liv Tyler is never naked, but mostly because it is the most far-fetched, unbelieveable movie ever made. They don't even attempt to make you want to believe that it could happen. Even leaving the science part of it out, just the thought that the government (which was just a few people in a small boardroom with a stuipid digital clock) would decide to take a bunch of scrubs off an oil rig and send them into space because "they know how to drill" is so ludicrous that I take it as an insult to my intelligence that they think I would watch past the first 10 minutes.

If you want a half-way decent asteroid movie, watch Deep Impact. That one was alright (although my wife left me a few hours after we watched it, so maybe it wasn't that good, lol)

They both have little in the way of storyline. Ridiculously set up situations drive me crazy as well.

You saw Crank, so you know, even though, if I remember right, you liked it. I thought the concept was silly, the acting was horrible, and way too much violence.

Andre the butcher is about a group of cheerleaders who end up with car problems on a deserted road with a maniac killer on the loose. Oh, and it's narrated by this hill billy, overall clad, tooth missing, guy.......need I say more?

Dead End Road.....because its stupid!!!

We rented it one night cuz we like scary movies. It definitely sounded like an indie film but the box made it sound great. Never know. Well me, my son and Jennifer sat all night watching this stupid movie, predicting every move.

Saw the ads... doesn't look promising. I'll watch it one day when it comes on TV.

Well, I waited on this one... then rented it for a dollar at the variety store (good place to rent really dumb movies).

Then I bought it.

Don't take this the wrong way JC, but to enjoy that movie you absolutely MUST be a ganja smoker. If you aren't, it would be a useless exercise. If you do, then the movie is filled with funny stuff... but strickly pot-heads only.
