torrents are files shared amongst a number of clients
it is similar to napster and limewire

you need a special downloader like bitcomet
and you get the torrent and download the file from others that have it on their pc
it can be pretty fast

the following takes place between 11 am and 12 pm

opens with a confrontation between karen hayese, director of NSA) and tom lennox, chief of staff mostly about tom's "prepatory" steps that implimented without presidential approval including racial profiling of government servants of all security level

nadia a ctu analyst of middle eastern descent has been racially profiled and her security rating downgraded hence hamstringing her in her duties
she reports this to buchanan who tries to ignore it knowing his wife, karen will fight to lift the sanctions

after being plastic bagged, graem gives his brother jack info about their dad and mcCarthy and go between between graem's and their father's company and general gradenko 11:10

tensions rise between milo, nadia, and morris @ ctu

walid infiltrates the "sleeper cell" in the detention center

tom orders karen to tende her resignation blackmailing her with a buried file at homeland security (her previous post) that hides the fact that while buchanan was head of ctu/seattle he once detained fayid 11:26


cut to future shop commercial regarding hi def tv using the 24 clock soundbyte

side note: nadia & milo..watch out! hot hot hot!

karen resigns and asks for reassignment to ctu/LA

walid pickpockets a cellphone said to be a link to fayid by the "sleeper cel"
shortly after he discovers that they are merely wannabes and all the info they have are from open source internet
shortly after walid is found out and beaten to a pulp


with graem in two, jack breaks into elegra global (mcCarthy) and seeks to find his dad and mcCarthy
meanwhile mcCarthy is holed up in a motel somewhere with his high maintenence throphy girlfriend trying to find an engineer capable to set detonation devices for the 4 other nuclear devices while fayid is riding his ass

jack breaks into mcCarthy's pc and finds everything since the explosion has been shredded

jack finds his father
well his father's security forces find him
jack's father was using his privated security to find mcCarthy before ctu did in order to protect graem as the 5 nuclear devices were stolen from his company and he did not report it to homeland security

in the end turns out jack's father's security forces have been usurped by graem and it ends with graem driving off with jack and father in cuffs being lead into a van and shackled down saying "call me when it is done"\\
