Saw this last night at the drive-in theatre.
Any good parts... like Sam Jackson's good line... you've already seen on the ads.
A couple of slightly funny bits... but that's about it.
I'd give it a 3.5/10... rental material only, IMHO.
CGI snakes aren't scary... just like Anaconda. Totally unbelievable.

Oh, what is believable, Urban......Freddie Kruger, King Kong, Jurrasic Park...you get my picture. Sometimes, after a particularly rough day, you need to sit back and get a big fat dose of non-reality. Think I need that right now.

Believable is where you can pretend for 1-2 hours that a situation is really happening, even though you know it's only a story. So what is "believable" depends on the person viewing and their outlook and experience with the world. From your list: Freddie Kruger-no, King Kong-somewhat, Jurassic Park-yes. In Snakes, all I saw was a bunch of cartoon characters in real life... but that is just my own point of view--I couldn't suspend my disbelief long enough to enjoy the film. I'm glad you liked it. I would prefer to watch Saturday morning cartoons or maybe Fraggle Rock.
I should start a thread on Fraggle Rock.
