First of all, it is fiction, G. Everyone seems to keep forgetting that.

My only issue with seeing movies of books I have read is that they very rarely live up to how good the book actually was. "The House of Sand & Fog" was one of the few I thought actually pulled it off.

How bout The Godfather.... that was an awesome movie... my #1 fav.

I loved that movie; but never read the book.

Just Watched Fun With Dick and Jane .....it was aaight....not spectacular though
Also saw "Holiday" with Queen Latifah....mos def a must see...loooooovved IT!!!!!!

Just finished re-watching the Lord Of The Rings Trilogya again....
this time (for the first time) i got to watch the extended edition


I give:
The Fellowship of the Ring..................10/10
The Two Towers............................... 9/10
The Return of the King.......................15/10

just to let you know..... the movies were reeaaaaaaalllllllllly long....
The first two movies were just abt 4 hours long and the third was somewhere between 4.5 - 5 hrs long

My only problem with watching these movies now is that I cant watch the regular versions anymore..... cuz the extended editions have so much more scenes that make the movies ohh so much more good

Any one seen The Omen Yet....was wondering if its any good........can't decide if I should see it!

jc and i saw the omen last night. the theater wasn't crowded at all, but a few people left the movie less than halfway through it and the rest of us were jumping in our seats and gasping during several scenes. then you could hear people giggling with embar****ment afterwards. i think i grabbed jc at least 3 times. the movie was good but we didn't feel like julia stiles suited her role.

Hoodwinked..I don't go to the movies!

Yah it was pretty good, lots of jumping moments for sure! Although I'm not sure it justified anyone walking out the theatre. And Julia Stiles still just reminds me of the teenager she played in Save The Last Dance.
