Reality Programs
I'm watching the reality program CHEATERS at the moment - a program I love but hate all at the same time

And was wondering... what do you guys think of reality programs????

Especially reality programs designed to intrude....

How far should they be allowed to go??

I love them!!!!! I think he farther they go the better for my entertainment.......maybe not better for the people being intruded on but thats for them to worry about! LOL

I hate them. So far fetched most of the time that I know they have to be controlled and not as "real" as they make us think.

I agree. They should be called "Reality" Programs not Reality Programs, lol.

When the first season of Survivor was on, some of the ejected participants were interviewed afterwards in various magazines etc and told how the whole thing was planned out and orchestrated. Who should befriend who, etc.

All of a sudden, after that we never heard a peep about the inner workings of the show. I think it's reasonable to assume that the producers got smart and made better contracts that would cost whistleblowers lots of $$$.

These shows appeal to our voyeuristic tendencies by pretending to show real life--but they don't really.

America has proven that the media have all rights. Cheaters is one way the media gets a chance to exploit ppl whether for money, ratings or not. the owners of Cheaters TV are real licenced Private Investigators with a cam. so they only doing their job for the rest of us to see, sorry I mean watch..........

They are definitely orchastrated....they did a scene of Real World at my job and everything was planned in advance...

Not seen that in the UK.... I'll look for a download


Watched a 'Big Brother around the World' last night... one of the Big Brothers in the US featured a brother & sister who didn't know about eachother and met on the set - I bawled!!!!!

The US version starts in the UK tomorrow - I'll be tuning in... preparing for the UK one!

Jel the show I mentioned is about a couple who had a set of twins, tried for one more and ended up having sextuplets!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now they have 2 - 6 yr olds and 6 - 3 yr olds!!!!

I've watched Jon & Kate plus 8! Having twins is overload. I cannot imagine how they deal with the chaos.

I'm in LOVE with Dateline's Predator Series. I sit and crack up over how stupid these people are!
