anyone out there know what reggae oldies can rammmm up a dancehall dance and which one will kill the mood

That's a hard one to answer. I regularly play in two different cities--about an hour drive apart. Chunes big in one place flop in di odder and vice versa.

I know have had big forwards from chunes like One Blood, Greetings, Murderer, Barrington Levy gets em going, even Shabba Ranks is cool... but once I played "Roots & Culture"--one of my old favourites.. and they looked at me like "what?"

I'll tink pon dis tonight an post again.

i've noticed playing out that, gregory issacs, dennis brown, bob marley of course, and others etc can boom up a dancehall. but it depends on which crowd you're dealing with,but some song's i care not to mention will empty a dance floor in a hurry. nuff revelling beer bottles & jeers can lock you down in a hurry.

Hi... u need to big up the place wid some big tunes dat was very popular. for example barrington levey- too expierienced to be taken for a ride, pinchers - bandelaro, tempted to touch, what one dance can do, One step ahead - Beres hammond, Leave People biz Alone and dat whole riddim....also remixes are nice..New tunes on old riddims for example check out this refix richie spice earth a run red and assasin we a kill from...i have also placed 50-Cent Many men_reggae Remix
