Boy I went to Jamaica and all I carry back for me is reggae music I tell you I cannot recall a bad reggae song in my life..BIG UP TALENT

Ever heard of an artist by the name of SNOW??? He had this stupid song called "INFORMER". His name is SNOW because he is Canadian and white as snow....he obviously has a love for the culture but he should not be singing because I don't know which fool taught him patois because you can't understand one word he is singing.

Spicy, isn`t that usually what a thread calls for? People`s opinions??? So in posting... wouldn`t I be expressing MY OPINION???

HOWEVER, I will rephrase due to the sensitivity levels on here I suppose:

In my opinion Shaggy is commercial-crap-pop-reggae, and everything he releases is pretty bad.

Okay... BG I'd have to disagree... MOST sung by Shaggy is lame-to-bad. He spends alot of time pandering to the masses, and singing lame chunes for 16-yr-old white girls like Angel, etc. However, he has had some hard tune--yuh just don't hear dem round here much. I always liked his track on Skin Out riddim-- can't remember the name. Once in a blue moon you'll hear a Shaggy track on the Robbo Ranx show on BBC 1xtra--but he is the first to admit, on air, that he refuses to play any of the lame Shaggy tracks--only when a good one is out.

I made fun of Snow for years... but he used to work for my friend as a DJ and apparently is a pretty good mixer. I can laugh at him all I want, but somehow he manages to get respect here and there. For a white guy to sing in patois takes balls, I'll give him that.

"infama... yuh know seh daddy mi snow me ago blame.. a leaky boom boom now..." Is that how they talk in Markham? Maybe Kardi can do another "how-to" song...lol

My vote for worst reggae song... I haven't heard it in years, but I think it was called "Somebody Pooped" by "Goofy" or something like that. A big fart sound in the middle of the song. IMHO, this was the worst reggae chune of all time.
