My cousin (who was once a corporate stock broker) used to play that song every morning while getting ready for work. I could see a complete "go get him" attitude in her demeanor as she grabs her briefcase and keys and head out the door. She used to say that men would just step aside when they see her coming.

Oh... all of those work!

I have so many songs that empower me, but the ones that move me the most are along the christian/gospel genre.

As a single mom.....even when I was married I was still a single mom...let me just say this me and my ex-hubby where young when we married so we were not ready spiritually or mentally. He was not a bad guy except for his infidelity other then that he was pretty cool.. Also if it is to happen again..marriage that is I would do a lot of things differently

It just makes me see that a woman has to do what she has to do in spite of any situation or circumstance. It's in our blood

Yeah such is life...I hear Ya well like I said my ex was ok. Not looking to get back with him though he and I have moved on..still it was for the best the divorce that is....God always has something better..trust and believe that 4 real. Not to take anything from your ex regardless of what caused the break up..we just have to analyze what and where the breakdown was in communication and then move forward and work to do things differently the next time. That just my MHO
