what up ppl?
im new to the board and i like to be part of the board.

i got a couple questions.

1.
what is the right form in jamaican for writing and saying THE is it DE or DI?
i noticed that dancehall deejays never use "de" they always say "di".whats the diference?is "de" for rootsreggae and "di" for dancehall?
2.
is ragga and dancehall the same music genres?or is there any diference?

3. whats the diference between "fi" and "fe"?

does it depend on place where the person is from on does it depend on the sentence?cause i cant understand why some say "di","fi" and some "de fe"

is it like:

Ready Fi Di Ride-Says someone who is from part A. of jamaica
Ready Fe De Ride-Say Someone who is from part B. of jamaica

so whats the deal? why is it "di backside" and "de road" why not "di road"?

why do people use sometimes "di" and sometimes "de"?the same with "fi" "fe"

so nothing changed?
1.deejays like bounty,sean paul, ele, ninja, shabba, etc. still dont use "de", they all say "di"
2.fe,fa,fi ain´t the same.
3.i´m still interested some1 to tell me the truth about that "mi/me" "de/di" "fe/fi" and "nah/nuh" ting.
