I have yet to see anyone do the scooby doo up ya buss it like how people a yard dun it ,i mean yardie in the US can dance but who agree with me that the only real dancers are back home .

Hey and Welcome to ETJ. Where in TX? I use to be in Ft Hood Kileen. SO anyway, I've seen it done..mi no really like it. Mek mi feel fool. But yardies can dance and even some weh noh from yard can...just work it.

I buy dem DVD from down yaad... so I learn to do dem from yaad people! Me and my man both look pon dem t'ing dey fi know what uh di new one dey. I do mhy own version of scooby though. I like it to look a little sexy... I'm a girl so mi nuh do it like ELE, I'm more feminine!

isn't that a downright dutty shame???Neways if I have I wouldn't even know that it is the scooby. I'm more up to date with the riddims

Mi a watch di Scooby Doo on my DVD too done by real yaardies in yaard. But they don't slow down enough for me to learn it!

I have to admit they do look a bit fool doin it though

. I will learn one day if I keep watchin and watchin....etc.

BUT who's mastered the Pony Tail????? This is the Jamaican dance mi most proud of because lemme tell you it took a lotta coordination for me to get the arm and all that leg ****! LOL. Plus I NEVER seen anyone do it unless they inna Sean Paul video.

scobby doo is stupid but i have mastered that too, but as everybody know ja dance a dance and it caan spoil, so it naw go hurt fi have some funa dn fling me han and puff up me face lol

Ok, this is a harder dance to get! Scooby is easy, it's just putting your own twist on it! Yeah, Ponytail looked good once I got it down... but the learning process was in my ROOM for an hour. I wasn't fittin to try that for the first time at a dance and shame myself! LOL

JC there's a video called "Learn How Fi Dance Reggae". It's good at showing people HOW to get it! Like instead of trying to figure it out from other people, it shows you the basics. It's some cheesy american guy talking, while jamaicans do the dance dem! It's good I bought it fi mi friend cuz she keep askin' mi what mi dey uh do! So mi buy it fi her, and Dance she uh Dance now! LOL

Bashment I do have How Fi Dance Reggae. I bought it cause the Dancehall Queen competition was on it. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE watching that footage. I know what you mean about that cheesy american guy!!! LOL he's naming all the moves but not in patois, just in plain ol english. Sounds stupid.

Also, I'm gonna buy another DVD with the 2002 competition where that Japanese gal won. I think I can get it at www.Dancehallareaz.com

The american guy's name is Kevin I think! He's talking about how to do the dances but he can only do like 3 of them, the complicated ones he has to put it to basic form and makes it look very awkward! Did you see him do "heel toe"? LOL... r@$$ c**t if I laugh I dead! LOL

My gyal who find ponytail easy.. good fi yuh! Mi nuh know bout dat! I was in competition dance for years, I know there's harder, but in terms of co-ordination... for a lot of people that's hard.

I practice to make it look different though, you can't do it like Ponytail (The girl in the Sean Paul video) otherwise yuh cyan't dance.... yuh haffi mek it yuh own. I like to SEXY up di dance dem... scooby is silly if yuh nuh mek it you're own!

You know JC... you haffi come here and bus' di dance dem. You know if you can dance by the reactions you get! If you get people following your kead, or just watching you... you're good. I remeber this one guy said: "Mi like how yuh do GO-GO wine :-)" he said that with a perverted grin too LOL. If I laugh I dead cuz di DJ put on like ld tune a mek yuh do TATTI, Go-Go wine, World Dance, Get Flat, Boggle, Buttafly, a whole heap uh dem ol' time dance dem.. it was nice!

I didn't find Pony Tail hard to DO, just to COORDINATE. But it was like after an hour in the privacy of my own bedroom in fronta my mirror (LOL) it just happened and it was easy.
When I come there girl we need to hide out in a room for a couple hours and really get our **** together so when we hit the floor it'll be like DAYUM!!!!
I ain't sayin I'm dancehall queen or nothin but when I go to the club with my girls who are all J'can and African they all say I have no problems. Although my ass don't seem to move quite like theirs it can hold its own and I never have a problem messin with men's heads when I got him pinned up against a wall and my booty playin with him.....LOL!!!!!

I AM the Dancehall Queen! Remeba mi tell you dat! Fi real! Dance was in me from a yute, I told ya'll I was competing1 I made CASH.

I was saying of all di dance dem recently, like you said JC, the co-ordination can F people up!

I practice to make it different, I hate doing it like everyone else! "Hot gyal get mad cuz yuh nuh regula!" Dat uh my modo! LOL... I don't ever do stuff the same!

By the way, Ponytail is good. She was in a dance group or something. I saw her dancing in TO... if you ever see her do the popular dance dem, she mek dem look OFF di CHAIN!!

i've mastered it, it was quite easy @ first. but i'll have to turn my leg back the rite way.
