Need help identifying a song

Hey guys , so i was watching an episode from the wire. There was this dope reggae tune playing in the background , searched google a million times trying to find this song , so i thought maybe someone here would no the name of the song. I only know a part of the chorus , and a bit of a verse. So it really is a shot in the dark... but your help would be appreciated.

Basically from what i heard it goes something like this in the chorus "Respect the badman , respect the nubian ..." then someone is singing in the background sorta like Mr Vegas or something .."la la la la lye..." . Then the verse kicks in "Coming like a bat outta hell" I know it seems vague as hell but if anyone knows...?

Thanks
