Jamaican music videos
OK, we all know that there are usually 2 versions to dancehall videos. There's the Jamaican version (the Hype TV version), then the version that is re-taped for North American audiences (the MTV version)...
example: Beenie Man and Miss Thing-Dude (there's 2 versions) Elephant Man-Signal Di Plane (there's 2 versions). The original are usually kind of "low budget", but they have a certain integrity that I love.... I like the original DUDE video with the helicopter, Beenie's maga self in the HOT TUB lol...it's an endering video! Which do you prefer? The original or the REVAMPED?!

I like seeing the originals... more times they mek new ones cuh di Jamaicans shoot dem on DVC which MTV nuh wanna play, so videos dem get redone on film (expensive).
