What do you think of counter actions?

There's been counter actions 2 songs for decades now. In R&B a popular one recently was the girl version to "I need A Girl Pt2." originally done by P.Diddy, Mario Winans, Loons, and Ginuwune, it blew up on the charts and girls love it.

Vybes Cartel recently tore up dancehall with the song TEK BUDDY.. everyone knows it and most people LOVE it. There's a counter action... it goes... "Pu**y down to da time/Mi tek yuh t'ings an' yuh neva get mi wine... /Tek con bwoy yuh t'ink mi easy.." I can't bother post the whole thing. The same woman has done counter actions to a couple of the bigger male hits in dancehall recently.

Vybes did a counter action to Kelis' "milkshake".. "Mi nuh drink Milkshake.../damn right man uh real ol' dog/Mi nuh f**k gyal if dem pum pum large/Kelis pu*** big like JP Prison YAAD.." That song is rude... but funny....

The Loxx (hip hop artists) did counter actions to TLC's "scrub" and Destiny's Child's "Bills Bills Bills"... the list goes on and on

How does ETJ feel about counter actions? Do you like them, or think that some artists just counter act to bank off the sucess of a hit song?

If you like counter actions, them post your favourites on here!

Re: What do you think of counter actions?

But my all time FAVE counteraction BY FAR...

Beenie Man countering Missy Elliot wid My Dickie.

His reversals of her lyrics are clever... and the song fits even thought the riddim sounds nothing at all like the original song in speed or rhythm. (I have to admit I've mixed them together in the club, just to screw people up though, lol)

"...find out how hard I gotta force it.. it's my dickie dickie inna yur..."
