For Immediate Release
BOB MARLEY’S WAILERS
REUNION CONCERT TO BE RESCHEDULED
BUNNY WAILER WALKS AWAY FROM WOODSTOCK REUNION

June 20, 2006 (New York, NY)- Music great, Bunny Wailer, who along with Bob Marley and Peter
Tosh created celebrated Reggae group, The Wailers, has declined to perform at a June 25
reunion concert “The Nice Revolution” at Hunter Mountain, precipitating the postponement of the
concert until a later date.

The concert was to have featured Bob Marley’s widow, Rita Marley, along with former Wailers
producer Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. In a letter sent to the concert organizers, Legendary Records,
Bunny stated many grievances towards Lee, which lead to his refusal to go forward with this
concert due to its line up.

D’Niscio Brooks, co-founder of Legendary Records said, “We regret that Bunny chose to break
his contract. We have nothing but the greatest respect for him as an artist and the musical
history which he has helped to create. We had no intention of slighting Bunny by the addition of
Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. We sought to recapture the spirit of unity and love which was the legacy of
Bob Marley and the Wailers and sincerely hoped that he would be a part of this goal.”
The Wailers rose to international fame with dozens of hits incuding I Shot The Sheriff, One Love,
and No Woman No Cry. Had the reunion taken place, it would have marked the first time in 20
years that the group had played together.

Legendary Records’ mission is to share Caribbean culture through reggae. Based in the heart of
Americas Caribbean community, Flatbush Brooklyn, Legendary Records promotes Caribbean
artists around the world by organizing and marketing the largest reggae events in the Northeast,
including the annual New York City Reggae CariFest and Reggae Music Fest.

“We will reschedule this concert later in the summer with a roster that upholds the idea of
standing together in peace and love,” says Legendary Records co-founder Junior Burton. “This is
important message and the reason why the show must go on.”

All persons presently holding tickets can hold on to them for the future concert or can return to
point of purchase and receive a complete refund.
