One of my biggest surprises upon visiting Jamaica is how good the chicken at KFC was. When you bite into the chicken there is full flavor inside and out. Unlike the KFC in the U.S. where it originated I tried some a couple days ago and it basically sucked. The only flavor was really in the skin and the real part of the chicken was pretty bland. I'm truly craving some Jamaican KFC now and it's so sad that they don't make it the same way in the U.S. Why is it so good in Jamaica and what is their secret? I want to know. I NEED some Jamaican KFC.

I've never had KFC in JA; however, I did buy some boneless chicken breasts at the market. When I cooked them (in a stir fry), I couldn't believe how wonderful they were. They cut like butter and tasted better than any chicken I've ever had.

They all look the same to me You have to admit that there are dogs all over Jamaica.....and not as many chickens. It's the same recipe, same spices....the cute little dogs are what makes it finger licking good. I don't eat at KFC so it doesn't really bother me.
No, they add all of the coating on the skin to hide the dog hair. Since most people never cook dogs they are not aware of how they look just like chickens.

KFC is an institution in Jamaica. Next to Tastee patties (Juici Beef doing big things now), I don't know of any other fast food restaurant chain that has done so well for so long. KFC was running things from I was a boy.
I've had KFC in another Caribbean island, and it just wasn't even close to what's at home.
I dunno why that is though. We just got it like that?

Try hand feeding some chickens, they actually make great pets. They will provide you with eggs until they get old and when they get sick you can kill them and eat them. Their feathers can be used for pillows or for those dusting things.
LMAO...Eco your a sick man. I never kill and eat puppies.....although I am guilty of feeding chickens...stealing their egg's and eating them at the end of the year!! I grew up on a ranch...that was a part of life!!
Puppies however are pets only!!
I never thought about using the feathers as a duster...but usually after the whole process they are not fit to be used!! And sleeping on the feathers of a chicken I just ate....just morbid!!!
