I like to grow my own stuff or buy organic veggies. Store bought veggies that are grown with chemicals don't appeal to me.

Some of our road side vendors carry good organic veggies at fair prices.

Well my carrot juice is made from regular bag carrots from the store.

I sometimes wonder about the stores organic food--who says/knows what it is grown with. I've eaten it most of my life without growing extra eyes or limbs but I'll stick with my own garden as much as possible.

Do you use a juicer or a blender? We looked at a juicer a few years ago and got sticker shock ($$$).

On a side note, I miss drinking the milk from the coconuts. Everyday I was there we had a big pile of fresh coconuts on the front porch. Too bad we sucked at cutting them open with a machete.

I use a blender. Juice is fine too but costly. That and a rice cooker should be my next purchasing of appliances.

Ginger Ale, my favorite. Nothing like the Ja variety. Anyone know where to get it in the states? Do they have it at international stores? Of course, drinking it in 40 degrees with with a coat on ain't quite the same.
