I don't know much about Port Antonio but you can't get much farther from MoBay unless you're in Kingston!

And check this link too:

I have been to Port Antonio and loved it. its about 2 to 3 hours from Montego Bay. To see some pictures of the area click this link below and scroll down and click on Port Antonio:

For places to visit see below for places to stay you can send me an email as I know of some nice places that wont have you breaking th bank :

Blue Lagoon: This is hole said to be about 200ft. deep. Its water colors ranges from light blue to emerald green. It's absolutely beautiful.

Boston Beach: It's a popular beach made even more popular by the fact that you can get some of the best Jamaican Jerk Pork in this area.

Frenchmans Cove: Has a spectacular beach.

Navy Island: You can spend a day on this island which is a 7-minute boat ride from mainland. Guided tour by reservations only.

Nonsuch Caves: These are caves rich in stalactite and stalagmite. It is also equipped with a gift shop and also has approximately 3 acres of well kept gardens.

Rafting on the Rio Grande: Something that must be experienced. This is a 2-hour cruise on a bamboo raft for two poled by expert rafts-men through lush greenery.

Somerset Falls: These falls are found in lush greenery. One can take a wake and enjoy the many variety of flowers or take a swim in the river.

St George's Village: This is a shopping area in a medieval style castle.
