Does anybody has or knows someone that is willing to sell a one way buddy pass plane ticket to travel from Chicago to Jamaica preferebly Air Jamaica but other airlines are good enough too......
A buddy pass ticket with Air jamaica will be hard to get. I work for Air Ja, and I am home.. via my stand by ticket, but I have priority.... high priority, so I dont' get bumped. You my friend.. will get bumped.. espeically this time of year.

I have a friend that work at Continental but the new rule is that for flights to Jamaica with the buddy pass they have to go with you something crazy like that but I don't care she can travel with me anytime for a buddy pass.....delicious

I just totally made a buddy pass link up!!! One of my coworkers new tenants works for WestJet and has the link for me!!! She says they always sell them cuz the airlines pay crappy and they all need the extra cash.

Yep I heard AC cracked down on buddy passes. But apparently Westjet doesn't care how they get rid of them.
Just so you all know, it is prohibted to sell westjet buddy passes. it says so on the pass itself and I hear they take it pretty seriously. If they find out you sold your passes, you will probably get fired if you are an employee. And if you bought them off someone, they'll be cancelled and you will probably be banned.... Just sayin'.....

With AC its been about 7 years since the policy changed and you have to be travelling with the employee to use a buddy pass. Which IS what they were intended for in the first place (hence 'buddy' pass). It has cut down SERIOUSLY on the pass abuse.

From what I heard straight from the WJ employee there are two different types of passes....one like the "buddy" pass and one they're free to do with as they please.
Why/how do they all sell them if its prohibited? Just curious because apparently they all do it.

With AC the policy was that someone could reimburse you for the cost of the pass but no more and no little gifties cause then it would be considered 'selling' your pass and that could result in dismissal. I was aware of people taking the cost plus 200 or 300 or 400 depending on the zone. They could have been in serious $hit.
