Thinking of staying at the RIU in Ochi from the 8th through the 13th and finishing in MoBay at the Rose Hall Hilton. Got a great deal at the Hilton and kids eat free. My son is 8 and there is other things for kids when they get bored of the beach. Not really a lover of AI but the deals couldn't be beat. Email me if you are interested.

Negril Aug 5-9 is ATI (or dream weekend depending on where your loyalties will lay)... about 30k party loving jamaicans, most from kingston, will converge on the area for day/night parties... def not the regular Negril that you experienced before, it's the most busy time of the year and it's not a touristy crowd at all... let me know if you need more info...

I am a lucky girl! I have heard all about ATI there should be some awsome shows, I was smart enough to book well ahead, I know places are filling up fast! I will be by myself during the days mostly and I am looking forward to going back this time for 3 weeks.

i love ATI, but it's not at all about the shows... they usually get a few big dancehall names to perform at jungle, but the live shows start about 3 or 4 am once the parties end... the real attraction is the day parties... (wildsides, wet and wild, daydreams and this year pretty in pink)... real jamaican parties, kingston comes to Negril if you will

the live shows get an okay crowd, but i think that's only b/c they are included on the bands... most parties are drinks or ultra inclusive, so people are generally a little too stupid at that time in the morning for my liking personally...
