Any recommendations of things to do here. nice places to eat etc.

I spent some time on the lower right side of this picture http://images.marinas.com/med_res_id/58004 (not my picture but I took 100's of the area). The area where we hung out was mostly full of outdoor bars and shops that were full of charm.
The area along the main road does not really have much if my memory is correct. The town is known for it's thunder dome (beyond the thunderdome-Mad Max). This is where they store and export mined products.

Scotchies is only a short drive East of town. If you end up going to the caves please take some pictures, I never had the time to go.

Thanks, except for all of the industrial stuff the area is a great place to take photos.
