Ok I need help guys. I wanna get married in NEGRIL prefferably (but if you know somewhere good in Mobay please let me know!) I need to know of a GUEST HOUSE that allowa marriage but please guys cheap cheap cheap (but looks nice lol) Im only young and cant afford nuttn too big!
Ok lowdown I been trying to look online but nothing matches my criteria...I had my heart set on a beach wedding but they are all so expensive! Oh well. Now I am looking for a guest house, I need to know how much to rent it for a couple hours! There will be no more than 10ppl in attendance I beleive it is small. I tried looking at the hotels but they seem to want ppl to stay at least 7nights to get a wedding there, I dont want that! Please help! JaMiss I know you are in Negril can ya help? Anyone else too and oh any good restaurants too around $500ja a head. And importantly anyone know a place that do reasonably priced wedding cake or just a cake! No more that $5000ja prefferably! Chyna - my British friend has just got married in Negril there a couple of weeks ago so I'll get more details. She paid a pastor to marry her on the beach outside her hubby's restaurant/home (Coconut International). However it all cost so much more than she expected - in her words 'everyone wanted a slice of the pie' despite the fact they were friends/family. Her costs involved the dresses, food and drink, sound system, cake, invitations. She spent a couple of thousand pounds in all (though not sure if this involved accommodation costs for family etc) I'm sure most guesthouses and restaurants will accommodate a small wedding party but whether you go to them direct or through package deals on the internet everyone will want to profit from it and add as many extras as they can. My friend there owns a bakery and could do a cake if I ask. He was charging (before price increases) about $3000. Do you plan to go there then arrange it - or do you want it all sorted before you get there?

Tanks Lady Sizzla! Yes my mum was saying exactly the same thing people hear 'wedding' and want to double even tripple the price instantly! I'm only 21 on minimum wage, Im having to go through ALOT to save the money to pay for this, I even have to walk to work! (3hrs a day!!) so Im sure you guys can understand were Im coming from! I cant just be shelling out! Um yes $3000 is ok for the cake, even if its a bit more but around $5000 is cool. Dang! A couple of grand and that was by family and friends?! Whoop! I have no hope lol. Thank you I would be greatful if you can find out all you can feel free to do the copy and paste thing. Its really just the LOCATION Im after still, no after paty, reception food etc just the locale! I already have a pastor or two lined up! Tanks Girlie!

Sounds like all you'll need is your outifts, cake, and the pastor to come to the beach. Ive seen people get married near the park on the beach with no hotels around - dead simple. Think the pastor charges about $12000 Ja.

dont worry hun, if your man is shy we can always just see you on the hen nite! we dont have to crash your wedding just be great to see you sometime while we all there. Im friends with JaMiss already so we can get together and toast to a happied married life for you.
Some time in February, my flight is February 10 thats y Im trying to get as much stuff together! I am supposed to meet JaMiss too I wanted to go for Christmas but they only had 6weeks available and I cant get the time off. I wanted to go Summer or something but its too long to wait and when I come back I have ALOT of stuff to do (ya'll know-smile) and I know Feb is DEAD COLD I will be GLAD to get away!!!!!!!!!
