I've had such good luck with airline tickets lately. I've been booking trips from St. Louis and KC to Denver. I booked a guy from Rome to St. Louis to Denver and back to Rome. I booked a guy from Africa to San Francisco to St. Louis and back. I booked a guy from St. Louis to Denver to Iowa and back. And, I booked Jomo and I to D.C. and back. No issues whatsoever. I use cheaptickets.com and then go directly to the airline websites when I see what I like.

Update on my booking drama. I never was able to book a multi-city trip through Kayak, cheaptickets or Orbitz. They display these fares but when it comes down to booking they eventually tell you that you can't.

So I emailed my travel agent the exact same flight plans and she booked it for the same price. Don't bother with the websites.

I've had more issues with those "cheap" web sites lately. I usually use them to look at what is available and then go to the individual web sites to book. Cheaper for me in the long run.

I just did a multi-destination booking through Expedia - No matter what other site I tried, I couldn't get what I wanted - Expedia found it for me.

RD I looked for this same fare on Expedia but it wasn't nearly as cheap as I got it.

You have to be careful with that, JC. I've found more often then not, those kind of sites are not as cheap as the actual airline sites.

It was just too confusing for me to look on airline sites because it was multi-city AND multi-airlines.
