no, ive never been. And to be honest...i've only heard negative stuff about jamaica, but i want to see for myself and enjoy myself while im there!

Why would you pick a place you have only gotten negative vybz fram then? To find out yuself? Dat dont mek much sense eh? Well I have heard a LOT of positive things about Jamaica.. just check out the trip report section

Don't believe everything you hear.

There is good and bad in Jamaica just like everywhere else in the world. Be safe and you will be fine. It's really no different then any other major city you would visit in the world. You always have to be smart and careful.

Jamaica is absolutely beautiful. There are so many interesting things to see and do. The people are kind and friendly. The food is amazing...........I could go on and on.

Right now, I am watching the Travel Channel and there is segment on Jamaica. Try and watch something like that some time to get a different perspective.

oh yeah, of course...we have commercials persuading people to go to jamaica every other sitcom with all wonderful things about jamaica...its just the people that i know that went there always come back with negativity

Seems a likkle strange that you would go to Jamaica by yourself for the summer, and have this negative picture of it....its a nice place..where will you stay? Do you know someone there? and why go for the summer you should try it out for like a 5 dya trip to see if you like it?
