In Ochi the best is this stand down this side street that sells steamed snapper wid rice and peas!!! Its' di best, but mi dont know di name of the street!! LOL

Ok..if you go through the town and on ur lefthand side near the oldest hotel in Ochi you will find it..but that is the best I can do until I return someday!!

As for the rest of the food, I will have to ponder mi memories and get back on this.

In Negril...the burger king wasnt baad
seriously though..there was another local joint that was great for breakfast..cyaan remember dat name either, but it was next to the church and across from a deserted resort/castle place. Oh..and it was walking distance from the Xtabi

Re: Best Restaurants

Thanks....

I've been to both Kuyabi and Xtabi.... both very good. I should have known that our great minds would think alike.

Anyone got any other hot spots they'd like to share?

I've heard there's a really great pizza place in Negril. Any ideas. We tried Angelo's (I think it was called), anyone been anywhere else.

Oh god my stomachs rumbling!

Don't get me wrong I'm not a mad pizza addict. Honest.

Just now and then when we're there we fancy a change..... and I obsess all day about where we going for dinner. I drive my boyfriend mad!

It's funny when you're on holiday when you've not got the usual crap to worry about, I spend all day planning breakfast, lunch and dinner, and what oufit I'm going to wear. I just can't help it.

Jamaica Tamboo in Negril claims to do the 'best pizza in town' though Ive never tried it yet.

I like Fatties near the Medical Centre for Jamaican food. Its not touristy and you dont get ripped off like the places directly on the beach. Oh I can recommend Sea Star at the West End too for beautiful food of all descriptions. The Jamaican chef did a beautiful Pot Roast Beef to satisfy my english craving.

Re: Best Restaurants

LadyS - so right about Fatties. You get a good amount of Jamaican food for a reasonable price. And he runs out of a lot of choices if you wait too long at night to get served, so you know others are enjoying his food.

Another great place on West End is Chef Juniors, about half way down. Although his prices are not as economical as Fattys, he puts out a great meal and still within a good price range.

Thank you soooo much. That's a pretty comprehensive list.

I've only tried a few of those you suggest, so that gives me lots to go on.

I'm probably in Negril 5 days. So 5 places for lunch, 5 for dinner.....

Brilliant. Again thanks for sharing.
