Getting Married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica - Jamaica Talk

Hi guys, I will be getting married in Ocho Rios and have found a planner

we want to get married at a beach location, have anyone ever used them before, they have been very helpful thus far, we got a great deal and just waiting for the day.

CONRATS again. Ocho is one of the best places to get married, better yet, Jamaica. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Yea CONGRATS .....may ur future be filled with happines, peace love and enjoy...even during the rough times. By the way nice place to get married Ocho Rios St.ann Jamaica...thats where im from, well i come from runaway bay but its a few minutes to Ocho Rios ....HAVE FUN GIRL.

Hi Chonuff, okay this may be long, but I will TRY to make it short, we booked our wedding in July, after months of planning, we send our birth certificates for her to process the marriage license as we did not want to have to stress ourselves by going to kingston, anyways, when we arrived in Jamaica, we had our transportation waiting for us at the airport, we then arrived at our hotel, we got upgraded to a Beachfront suite (we were surprised) as it cost more for that, we then met with our planner, and she was so pleasant and helpful, we went to look at the location and it was AWESOME, it was unbeleivable, it was a private beach with a gezebo or the option of doing it on the sand, we did the gazebo right in front of the beach and took our pictures on the sand and also in the gardens located at the same location, it was just beautiful, okay, on the actual day of the wedding we arrived at the location and I started crying when I say my fiance waiting for me, he arrived before me - plus everything was beautiful, we could not have asked for more, we had 36 photos and they were so professionally done and the dvd was amazing, our cake was great , the first time we were having Jamaican RUm Fruit Cake, we had some songs that we wanted and they played them for us, and they were also edited on the dvd, I would truly recommend them to anyone wanting to get marry in Jamaica.

Congratulations. I just got engaged on Christmas day and plan to get married in Jamaica on July 30, 2005. I'm leaning towards Sandals Resort. Since you had a wonderful experience, can you pass along the information on where you stayed and your point of contact (wedding planner)? Thanks so much.

Hi,

Congrats on the upcoming wedding. I have dealt with Almarie personally and professionally and met her the other day re accommodations. She is very professional. Actually I havent worked with her yet on a wedding but I have a client getting married in Ocho Rios in August and I will be consulting with her.

Congratulations! Where exactly did you have the ceremony- Resort or private location? Sounds wonderful..........just dreaming/planning..sometime..
