Just A Reminder
On January 8, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document.

I posting this because after over a year of reminding my mother and brother that they will need a passport to travel to the Caribbean and Mexico they have yet to get their passports.

And I work for the airlines...Ok I just needed to vent, carry on.

I was prepared last year when they said the same thing for Dec. 31, 2005. I'll believe it when I see it.

Applying for mine this week -- because I'm traveling to JA on 1/5 -- and returning on 1/9! I waited, thinking they would rescind the requirement . . . but I can't wait anymore. $97 out the door!

Yep, you better apply soon. Or you won't get it back in time and will pay even more to expedite. Took me 8 weeks when I applied under my new name just a few short months ago.

One of my employees just applied and got hers in 4 weeks. I figure there will be a HUGE rush though at the end of the year. Had my photo taken tonight -- gonna go tomorrow on my lunch hour and apply.

Just got back from the Clerk of Courts where I filed for my Passport. They said it should only be 5 weeks (at the longest) to get my Passport in the mail!

Got my Passport in the mail on Monday, 12/4/2006. It took 4 weeks plus the weekend!!!!

wha airline do u wuk fa, n wha do u ya do?

mi alwayz had mi passport.. since like, age 6 or sintin.. dem wud give issues ta people of colour if dem nah haff passport.. at leas in my experience...
