This question is for those who travel often to JA. I just came back from JA on August 23 but my boyfriend there has offered to buy my plane ticket to go back at the end of this month and I decided to take him up on his offer. I was wondering if immigration is going to give me a hard time because I was just there so recently and this is my third time going this year.

Second, since I'm going end of Sept (28th) til Oct. 1, I'm worried about hurricane season, is it over by then? I sure hope so.

I'm so happy that i get to see my hunny again. Long distance relationships are soooo hard.

sorry but if immigration was gonna question anyone it would be me!!!! You wont have a problem I went with three weeks in between. And I have been going every month since May. Im sure Jomos girl will chime in she might have went with less time between trips but she went tons of times as well.
As for hurricane season its still active so sorry to have you nervous but it is something you should consider.
LDRs are hard and its great when you get the chance to go often. Dont worry and enjoy yourself!!!!!!!!!

I believe as long as you aren't there for more then 6 months in a year, then it's good. I bet Jamaica Miss would know!

lol..I guess that was a silly question.. I travel frequently with the states but not internationally so I had no idea.

also I'm not staying at ahotel so will they question me about where I'm staying.

that they will ask so make sure you give them an address. Or just say a hotel if you dont want to get specific and to keep things simple.

And yes, Dakwa, they will want his address and trust me, they won't let you out of the airport til you give it. I've actually had an immigration officer call the man on his celly and ask for it.

Caribgyal, customs did give me a bad time when I was going back and forth many times in a year. They would look through all the suitcases, I guess looking for drugs, because that is what they are thinking you are doing.

You do have to give an address and then they will question you if it is a private address about who lives there, etc.

Don't worry about it though. Just answer their questions and throw in a sincere smile and you sail through in no time and be with your man. Report back to us what they did. I'm curious if they are still that way.

Then I have been extremely lucky as I never had a problem once!!! Thank goodness. And I would nto give an address just for that reason. Hotel all the way!

Well make sure to leave where you will be with several people. Call when you get there. And pay close attention to every where you go.
If you really feel scared or uncomfortable make sure you have a credit card to go to a hotel. Where area will you be at???

this is nice Carib.....Sav is close to negril too so you will enjoy your time. Immigrations is jus like anywhere else just to make sure you know where u are going.....plus some of dem jus fasss.

Will he be picking you up at the airport?
you should get some cool photo spots on the way to sav too.
