1/5 - 1/7 I'll be at Grand Lido Negril for my best friend's wedding. I'd like to stay an additional 2 to 3 nights and am fascinated with Xtabi on the cliffs. Anybody stay there? I'm going alone . . . so will I be safe there?

The place was quiet and relaxing. The owner is super nice and is around all the time...I think he's from Europe some where. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but very nice. The bar is nice as well! We walked down the road no to far and went to this place for breakfast every morning that was lovely. I love to walk..so we also walke to town one day and to Rick's the other day...it takes a while but I love to check things out and explore a bit! Let me or LD know if you have any questions!! I will definately stay there again!!

Thanks, DiamondGirl -- I had totally missed your post. The pics are awesome! I called tonight and made my reservations!

I'm scoping out places to bring my twin daughters (age 14) in the spring -- thought I'd stay in MoBay at Sunspree for a few days and then at Xtabi in Negril for a few days! This trip will give me the opportunity to see if it will be someplace they would enjoy.

Jamaica can get pretty crazy in March with Spring Break. Something to think about with 14 year olds.

Thanks Ladies. I'm going in January -- but was planning on taking my daughters in March. Guess I'll rethink that, Jomo's Girl. Prices are really high then anyways -- so I think I'll look to take them when they get out of school in June (if I let them live that long, LOL)
