i'm Glad You're Okay Teach, Just Reading Up On Your Dillema, Well Due To Dehydration Alcohol Consumption That Depends On What Drink And How Much As Being Drunk Too. But It's Good You Were Able To Tell Us About It. But Get Plenty Of Rest, And Try Not To Be Strenious.

That's not true GG....what happened to me has NEVER happened on any of my other trips and I've even stayed local before.

I think I had some sort of food poisioning in May when I came back from JA. Mine is pretty easy to figure out......we went crabbing....stabbed, killed, cooked, and ate them. Was sick the next day and a few days after. Made coming back on the plane a real joy.

I thank god,have never had food poisoning while in Jamaica. I am very cautious about what I eat in general, and there are only certain places a road Rupert will let me eat. I feel ill almost everyday from food, so cautious I have to be.

Remember, Jamaica foods traditionally (not those rare-cooked stuff that you get at the hotels) are cooked WELL-DONE. The drinking water is good, the chicken,ackee, fish and festival is great. And the rum.......

Well I am back in full effect today......and feeling fine it was a mild case and may just be that my body wasn't used to all the spicey food I ate.......it was an all inclusive resort you know......there was there was lots of things to eat tried a few things i neva had before.....its not a big deal.....my trip was awsome and I am mos def going back....

I am always very cautious eating at hotels. My husband worked at a hotel on North Coast and let me tell you, the stories I heard!
Its true Jamaicans always cook food well-done so usually should never have and food poisoning from "box food".

I think there are horror stories at any restaurant or hotel anywhere. People are usually just plain nasty, if you think about it.

Exactly, we don't eat in restaurant too often purely for that reason! And if we do, Ruperts friends work in the kitchn or is the chef, both in JA and here.
