Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
After my experience at the Seattle-Tacoma airport, I am not in a rush to go back! I was pulled aside for "additional screening" twice - the first time making me miss my plane, with my luggage on it! The second time I went through the screening I knew I needed to get my boarding pass stamped. Nobody told me why I was required to go through this, but not seeing anyone else go through this (and trust me, I spent a LOT of time at the airport) I came to the conclusion that it was because I was a Canadian flying out of the US. Right or wrong, it left a bad impression of the airport on me.
I agree with JC - I have never had a problem with Air Canada.
I am partial to the Vancouver International Airport. I have flown out of there countless times and never had a problem. They have a lot of interesting First Nations sculptures to check out.
Our local airport runs pretty smoothly, but it is the type you walk out onto the tarmac to board the planes! There are no jets landing here!!

Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
Yah I never had a problem with Vancouver airport either and I lived there for 2 years. That's where my son flew by himself from a few times.
And YES Continental airlines still serves meals for free! And not just a bag of peanuts either!
The Indianapolis airport is kinda ghetto....it looks all old and it actually isn't really upgraded anywhere. They need to fix that.
Las Vegas airport is large, no problems there. And Phoenix and Minneapolis, no problems either.

Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
Wow, you guys must travel a lot!
I've only been on Air Jamaica and AA and so far I have no complaints. I always go to Miami International to travel to Jamaica and seem to have gotten good service so far.

Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
Okay more comments from me....a month later. My JA trip in July.
I've been to LAX a million times in my lifetime but why this time did it seem so ghetto and rundown??? It just looks old. No problems there though.
Phoenix again, been there before and no problems.
BUT I had to fly AMERICA WEST again!!!!!!! And only because the trip was free. I HATE them, hate them, hate them. I don't think I'll ever have a good thing to say about them. This time I got stuck in the backest row of seats so they didn't recline. Try sleeping straight up! LOL.....it got to a point where I slept with my head on my food tray.
Air Jamaica....I'm very sorry to say this but....NOT good. VERY cramped, the seats weren't even big enough for my butt...on an airline where mostly big booty people ride it!!!! Fabulous landing though, not sure I've ever experienced a nice one. And also on Air JA, on the way home some ghetto lady with the fake claws and hair all done up was sitting in my seat when I got to it. When I asked her to move, we didn't realize til later when trying to sleep that she had taken ALL 3 PILLOWS from MY row and hoarded them in her seat across the aisle. So she slept like a baby with stacked pillows. When I asked for more the flight attendant said too bad, so sad. No luck. So I told her that lady took mine and she said "well she's sleeping on them, what can I do?" So Debbie got up in the aisle pretending to stretch and in stealth mode SNATCHED a pillow right from under ghetto's head. LMFAO!!!
Air JA, not a good experience.
Continental is still my fave.

Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
Continental is a good one. I really like them too, JC.
Think we are going AA to Chicago in October. Such a short flight, I better not have any complaints. O'Hare is okay.

Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
Ok I flew on American Airlines on my last trip.....booked trhough travelocity BTW had no problems at all....all my flights were on time and smooth as hell...we were treated nicely and I have not one complaint.......The Airport we had our Layover n was Miami....that place is the Armpit of the world ...if you can connect anywhere else in the univers please do...the people are rude and unhelpful...and both times they changed my gate at the last minute to one that was like a mile away so we had to dash through the airport to get there and they never even made a PA announcement we only found out cause I noticed that we were getiingclose to boarding and their were not a lot of people around so I asked......****.....also the only restraunt there was to eat in at 9:00 in the morning was Pizza Hut.....no place to get breakfast....it sucked avoid it at all costs.....I swear I am the least complaining traveler who ever lived and if I had these issues i can only imagine what a picky person would say about that place....
Next trip..I have booked on Air Jamaica...Direct flights...so i don't have to do all that connecting stuff.....only going for 4 days don't wanna spend them traveling ...a lil nervous about the comments on here about cancelled flights...cause I am supposed to come back sunday night and I have to work Monday morning......*yikes*

Re: Airline/Airport Comments?
Must be you, Teach. Been through Miami on two trips. Never had any problems......except that the immigration guy didn't take Jomo's papers and nearly ruined the rest of our lives!!!
