What brought you to Jamaica???
For those of us who aren't Jamaican, what took you to Jamaica the first time? Why did you go?
My answer is that I won the trip off our radio station. That was in March 2003 and the rest is history. Life has all been a big blurr since then!

Re: What brought you to Jamaica???
Looking into a vacation in Orlando and somehow figured out it was cheaper to go all the way to Jamaica. Plus, found out the resort had a nanny for the kids and I could actually go have some fun on my own some of the time.
I am headed back in 10 days for trip number 13. Seems like and the rest is history is a common thing we all have.

my first trip was Dec. 99 for my cousins wedding. we stayed at the Grand Lido (which I hated!) and that's where it all began. I fell in LOVE the minute I stepped off the plane!!! and like every one else, the rest is history still in the makin!!! going on my 9th trip in 102, almost 101 days!!!! July 14th thru 23rd.

Re: What brought you to Jamaica???
I have wanted to go to Jamaica for a number of years, and last year my friend wanted to do her "dream trip" - which was a Caribbean cruise. I agreed to it if it stopped in Jamaica. We were only there for a day, but we had so much fun and met a few people that we have stayed in touch with.
Now my next trip there is in 30 days, this time I get to spend 2 weeks, and I can't wait! The countdown is definitely on.

my first time was a stop on a cruise..and I almost didn't back on the ship and that is no **** either..knew I had to go back..but just couldn't muster the money to go. This last time it was for my nieces wedding and I am going back in July...hope there will be manymore too..but I have to figure out how to do it with the $$ end of it....Doc payed for my ticket back this time..but can't expect him to do it all the time? just going to play it by ear and enjoy every single freakin minute I can get there!

Re: What brought you to Jamaica???
What kind of business do you have in Negril? Or is it as simple as reading your screen name?
