Re: What brought you to Jamaica???

Well in the beginning: DANCEHALL!!
Here in London thats my music policy, my frens know not to invite me out if dancehall is not playing!

My father is from JA but i am no longer in contact with him, my fren has family in St Ann's so we stayed there the first time. But i love the street dances and the general vibe in JA so staying there got boring for me after the 2nd visit which was near Ochi. It was more for the tourists up there and to me a 'watered down version' of the parties i know keep in other areas. Im glad ive never stayed in a hotel; theres only so much time i can spend on the beach and walking from shop to shop looking at souvenirs LOL. I was travelling with people who were afraid to venture out....

Met my current partner who lives in Kingston and i love being down there. Theres a natural buzz of relaxation and enjoyment. Cant wait until Dec when bare dance ah keep!!!

But yes in a nutshell my reason for going was the parties and street dances!
