the job sucks but the perks....fan-freakin-tastic!!! my best friend Dee works with me and last trip in November/December we brought 4 friends with us....it was great!!

nah gurl the pays great too....its just the everyday grind that sucks. health benefits - great, crazy low airfare (sorry) but we fly standby...above average pay (i'm on salary but i think it breaks down to about $26 per hour)....i know i shouldn't complain but the hours suck....i've been with the company 8 1/2 years and i'm stuck on graveyard if i want to have decent days off and ever see my son.

oh well...its back 'home' in 26 more days!!!

DAMN! I think I should look into that! I make $27/hr and thought I'd never see that in another job outside the gov't!!!! Do I have to be bilingual?

right now there may be a hiring freeze but i'm not sure. worth looking into. at one point you had to be bilingual to be hired at AC but i think the last hire was unilingual....

I started going to jamaica because my mom has family still there in St. Mary. I've been going since I was a baby and I plan on going next month for two weeks.

wow. i will be at Starfish in a couple of days for my 13th trip to JA and my 7th to (Trelawny Beach in its former days) Starfish. will you still be there?? i arrive June 25th.

If you are going to be at Starfish then you definately have to go to Glistening Waters. It's right there.

i have stayed on the hip strip before...we may go downtown once this trip but usually i stick around Trelawny...and i know...Glistening Waters is within walking distance...right around the corner!

The first time I went was with a boyfriend and we stayed at the Wyndham Rose Hall in Montego Bay. We both fell in love with Jamaica and returned shortly afterwards staying at the same place. The 3rd time we stayed at the Starfish Hotel in Trewlawny. I later returned (single) and stayed at Hedonism 2. I plan on returning August 3rd-7th and plan on staying at a beach house in Negril. I'm sooooo excited about my next trip since it will be my first without non-inclusive accommodations. I love Jamaica and I'm emotionally tied to it. I can't explain it but I truly feel at home there.
