I'm going to Jamaica in two weeks. Are there any campsites, please? Especially in Montego Bay, Negril and Treasure Beach.

Some hotels and guest houses on the island will let you pitch a tent and some have tents available for you. My information is a few years old so don't know if it is still correct. Prices usually run from $10-15 US per night.

All area codes are 876. In Treasure Beach check out 4M's Cottage, 965-0131; Ocho Rios try Little Shaw Park Guest House 974-2177 (their camp fee is $25 US); Negril try Lighthouse Park 957-4490 or 800-633-0045 or Roots Bamboo 957-4479 price $12 s, $21 double, $32 Triple and is beachside. Sorry couldn't find any listing for Mobay camping, but I believe there are camping places.

Do NOT camp out in the bush alone. It is unsafe. Also do not camp on private property even with permission as your safety is not guaranteed. The government usually does not allow camping on government land or in the Blue Mountains.
