i know they are gonna be quite boring cause i didn't leave the resort (I'm gonna catch hell for that i'm sure but i just wanted to relax by the pool...plus my boy works on the resort so i spent a lot of time on site with him.) i know i've said it before but...maybe next trip. i'm going back in November and its not like i haven't seen the countryside before. 9 trips under my belt i hope i've seen more then the resort.

yes, dolly's food is slammin' and she's a people person. i told miss dolly that you recommended her place. she's grateful. my room at the gloriana was huge! when i checked in i requested a room with a refrigerator and i ended up with a mountain view room. it had a king size bed and a twin size. the verandah was also quite roomy and felt secluded until i tried to get some quiet time one morning and a youth on the street started his attempt to get my attention, "psssssst! yo, u memba me?" the room was only $57/ngt for double occupancy. it was clean but it also showed signs of wear and tear. there were blow outs in the comforters and the dresser drawers and tv stand were doing the gangsta lean. that kind of stuff doesn't bother me though. if anything it added character to this old and quaint hotel. i found a tiny lil lizard in the bathroom one day. it was so small it didn't show up in the picture i took of it. lol

glad u enjoyed your trip and thanks for posting pics. your friend chicken seems quite content feelin on yo booty there lillith. lol i won't get on you about not leaving the resort. my sis got on me for not going to the beach on my last two trips. came home the same color as when i left. to her that 's a waste of sunshine. i'm finished with the sun worshipping though.

I have to say that those were some of the most unique JA pics I've seen. I didn't know Jamaica had a circus! And your man (real cute) wears leopard skin tights! LMAO!

i know. never thought i'd say i have the hots for a guy in leopard skin tights...PINK ones at that but he is a cutie and one of the nicest guys i have ever met. so easy to talk to...broad shoulders and fantastic arms (he IS a trapeze artist!!) oh god...i'm fallin hard!!

Hey Lillith LOVED ur pics! Ur guy in the clown suit really had me laughing! (in a fun way!) I went 2 a cicus in Jamaica once, when I was living there. It was a travelling circus "The Suarez Brothers", I missed 3 quarters of the show waiting 4 my friend 2 get ready. Again I was piss9ed!

just found this site, was reading your post . . . just wondering why you refer to the man as "my boy"? seems to be very degrading way to describe a jamaican man. of course, this is just my opinion.

I think it might be a hip hop term.... giving her the benefit of the doubt, but I do agree with jitter bug given the use of the word in the past especially in some southern states to describe men of color it could be deemed inapporpriate......I am more curious if your friend got her prince, that poor guys face...he is lauging with the kack out teeth but inside I bet him fraid like puss. I wonder how much action these hotel guys see on a monthly basis...hmm I sense a book coming...Memoirs of a star fish employee...I smell oscar guys.

they probably see quite a bit!! with the turnover of women on a weekly basis...whew!! i just try to remain friends with them but the charm...sometimes too hard to resist!! great bunch of people at Starfish though...friends for life. Neron the basketman....Dana, art dealer...Lennox at watersports....Gregory, Max and Phillip, circus crew....Yvonne, bartender lobby bar....all sweethearts!!
