ok guys, i've promised pics a looooong time ago and never got around to doing it. i'm doing this from my classroom so it will have to be a work in progress. these were taken on my 4th trip to montego bay in december.

this is my friend kenneth and his nephew. i've known this guy since last april. he's a bartender at the doctor's cave beach hotel. he makes the best rum punch you'll ever have.

this woman worked in the tours office at the hotel i stayed at. she was so helpful. she took me to a party in trewlawny and drove me to ocho rios to meet some friends. the guy is her boyfriend.

this handsome lil guy was at the party in trelawny. i tried flirting with him but he was too shy. he looks a lot like my son's godbrother.

i saw this on a sean paul video once and asked my boyfriend about it. he said it's a common thing to do at parties. i finally saw it for myself. i kept wondering if the palm tree was going to catch fire. lol

this woman was throwin' down on some good food. i tried goat soup for the first time. there were these little puppies begging for scraps from people. i didn't realize that a few of them were watching me. i accidentally dropped some rice from my plate and before i knew it they were fighting over it right at my feet! it scared the buhjeezus outta me and a guy standing next to me got the dogs away from me and then yelled at me to not feed the dogs. i was like, "i didn't mean to, dang!" lol

my friend took me to his house. this is his grandmother. she saw my camera and asked me to take her picture. i just love how she posed all casual for it. she was so fascinated to see herself on the digital camera. i mailed her a copy of her pic when i got back to the states.

ANyway, that little bwoy is sooooooo cute. I wish I was on a plane to Ja now after once again, seeing the pics of another Ja trip for the 10th time. But no hard feelings.

boy i just love the sarcasm from hp and pb! LOL maybe i shouldn't even announce that i'm heading back on sunday...oops, i guess i just announced it anyway. i'm looking forward to being with friends and loved ones again.

i have other pics to post but i still haven't figured out how to resize them. so that's all for today folks.

i know i said that was all for today but that was before i realized how easy it was to resize pics in photobucket. thanks for the suggestion dwellinginwis!

this is a group of kids at the party in trelawny. i think they're all cousins. i had such a good time chatting with them and asking them about school. after i told them i was a teacher one little girl followed me around the whole night spelling words to me. interacting with these children really made me wanna experience teaching in jamaica. they are so different from american kids.
