You know, it juist doesn't seem right. A ticket with AA that my friend just booked yesterday from Portland, Oregon is $505 including taxes and fees. And that's clear across the US from where you are located. Have you tried going straight to airlines, MBG?

www.Hotwire.com gives good deals try them too, most times they r much cheaper than the airlines because they get a concession.

kc: it was on this trip that i saw jamaica's beauty in it's truest and most natural form. you are blessed to be able to wake up to this every morning. relocating has been on my mind a lot these days. i think i'm gonna try it out for a year.

mybabygirl: ticket prices are kinda high right now. i've been pricing it for my son and me and it's $1100 for the both of us. i only paid $250 for a plane ticket on this trip and i was ecstatic. but now that i can no longer take off from work i can't be flexible and wait for the cheap tickets to come along. hotwire does have some pretty good deals, but you have to be open on your travel dates.

spg: great river is a beautiful place. being able to see and swim in it was worth every blister i got after trekking through the bush in heels. i wanna go back!
