You see this is why I don't make trip reports.........ITS NOT A GRAVE!!!!!!!
and @ Damswell.....it has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths a garage....very spacious........I am not sure of the rent cause D worked that all out with the guy, but it was listed for 32,000 a month........
LOL still laughing about the Grave thing...no that thing is only like 2 ft by 2 ft.....it has no writing on it and a handle so you can open it.......Imma ask D to tell me what it is ....I never did see a grave with a handle to open it up right in the center...whats that for in case the deceased wants to come out and sit under the ackee tree?
Any way Saturday we drove all the way to Kingston.....it was a long ass drive. like 4 hrs. We were going to have dinner with some friends who live their. Its really a beautiful drive though lots to see. I did not bring my camera as it was not really a sight seeing trip. We stopped roadside along the way and ate Mangoes and peeled pine and bannanas....the fruit is sooooo much sweeter there. We met up with our friends in Kingston and drove over the bridge to Portmore for Dinner, we went to a likkle place just over the bridge called Morgan's. We ate fish and rice and had a really nice time visiting with our friends, who I have not seen in a long time. We drove all the way back home same night, it was a lot of driving...and when we got to about Discovery Bay we pulled off the road too sleep for like a half hour ....then...back home.
Sunday after all that driving and we didn't get in till 3am we slept in late and just chilled out all day not much to report. Monday we decided to drive over to Negril....D like it there for some reason....I am not that crazy about it, but anyway we found a place on the beach to just chill and have some drinks called "the office of nature" We were watching the rasta man cook on his fire fr a while and the fish smelled so good. D is really picky about his fish and insisted we go get our own fish and just pay the guy to put it on his fire...so we went pon di road to get fish......
Here is the most dramatic moment of my trip...... leaves me in the car to go and get the fish.....I have all the doors open cause it is sooooo hot and his A/C is not working...it starts to pour rain so i have to close eveything up and it keeps raining...and raining and raining.....I couldn't open the windows and i couldnt leave the car with out getting drenched and i was waiting for like 40 minutes, cause D was just stayin somewhere to keep dry till the rain stopped....neither of us figured it would rain so long.....anyway.....I started to get soooooo hot in the car and now the windows were fogged an the fogger thiny doesn't work so i couldn't drive over by the fish place to get him and I decide to get out and run fr the building that was near.....I was completely drenched before i even got three steps from the car.....just at that time I turned and saw D rushing in the rain back to the car and I left it locked...so he was stuck out in the rain......eventually we both got back in the car soaked to the skin.....we had a very "heated discussion" about what each of us thought the other should have done in that mess......but we had our fish......and I think it was worth it........
From the few pics you posted, a 3 bedroom for that price?!? That's really good!
Good thing D had you there, or else he may not have found that ad, lol.
After our fish and roast breadfruit dinner...we decided to take a ride over to Rick's and just watch the sunset and have a redstripe.......You gotta love the sunset at Rick's........
After that we drove home and spent a quiet evening together at home as my flight was at 12 the next day.......so there you have it....my mini report...........It was a nice trip and We accomplished what I went there for........sad that I had to cut it short and miss sumfest, but It was a good trip. And I now can't wait to go back to the house ........gonna bring my boys at christmas I think......
