Re: Royal Decameron Montego Bay
Who took those pics? Why are there no people in them?
I was trying to see if any of my friends were still there.

Re: Royal Decameron Montego Bay
Sorry JG,
I have over 1000 pictures to go through so please bare with me on that. These are just the pics that I took for my personal view but since I know now that you guys want to see people in them as well, I'll work on that the next time I am there.
I thought since so many want to see what some of these hotels look like I would share some of the pictures I have.

naive charm, yes, if you want to be tucked away from any city life. I wouldnt trade those memories for anything...

Re: Royal Decameron Montego Bay
Jomo's Girl, I know you've stayed at RDMB a couple of times. Would you recommend it for a HOB (Horny Old Bastard) like me? I'm thinking of another short mini-vacation (just 3 nights...4 maybe) and would prefer Negril (narrowed it down to 2 or 3 places there), but I keep returning to the RDMB Web site. Though the beach is not like Negril's, I know I'd have a blast staying there, regardless. I don't (necessarily) want to go on any excursions or do anything except veg out for a couple of days, soak up some rum and Red Stripes, and do some snorkeling each day, and the convenience (ie, close to the airport) and the hotel's amenities and rates are appealing.
Which would you recommend for just a 3-nighter--RDMB or Negril?

Re: Royal Decameron Montego Bay
I've stayed at RDMB. If I were going for a 3-nighter and had no plans to do excursions, I'd go to Negril to hang out.

Re: Royal Decameron Montego Bay
I am a Negrilite, too - but I did a 4 nighter at RDMB - loved it - the food was good, I loved the way the loungers are set up, and it was convenient to Margaritaville and the Hip Strip.

I liked it, Wahoo. It's definately a good place to rest and relax. Small enough to have charm and you get to know everyone, yet big enough to hold your attention if you are looking for something to do. Plus, it's right on the the strip if you want to venture out.

Re: Royal Decameron Montego Bay
Appreciate the advice about RDMB. I'm still inclined toward staying in Negril, but if I do decide to stay in Mobay, I think the RDMB will be my first choice.
