I got back on Wednsday night from 9 nights and 10 days in paradise and I guess I'll start a trip report since I haven't done one yet. I am just getting some photos together because I took about 500 of them.

My trip started out at 6pm on the 19th because I had to get to the airport by 7pm. It took a while to get to SFO from my house and with check in and waiting around we finally boarded our flight to Jamaica at 10pm due in at 1pm the next day to touch down in Montego Bay. I went with a first timer from my job and she was just as excited as going there as I was.

We had an lay over in ATL for 4 long hours and were on our way and landed in Montego bay with no problems.

We arrived in mobay and had to wait 45 minutes for our ride to get there because he had a flat tire on the way. After getting on the road we stopped at biggas for some conch soup and were on our way to our hotel.

We arrived at the hotel and threw our stuff down and headed right over to the beach. It was the gloomiest day I had ever seen. The ocean was so choppy. My friend was not looking forward to this being what her vacation was about. We walked over to Bourban Beach and my friend got to taste her first taste of jerk chicken. It was a little too spicy for her so we ended up going to get some pizza for her instead. After eating we headed over to the bar that my friend works at and I said hi to everyone and introduced her to some people and then we were off for a little nap before going back to Bourban Beach for the night show.

We got to Bourban Beach and it was in full swing. There was tons of people! She had her first red stripe and I had the first of many rum creams for my trip. we danced like crazy and listened to the show and ended up leaving around 3am and went straight to bed and crashed.

The next day we woke up at about noon and missed breakfast so we went to a hotel and I had an overpriced cabbage salad and she had lobster pizza. she enjoyed the pizza and I picked at my salad and told her this is why I stick to yard food. The view was nice, There were already a lot of people in the water. The ocean was clearing up and was less choppy but still a little rough.
We went back to my friends bar and hung out until it was time almost time to go to Alfreds. We got back to the hotel and changed and headed out. We had a night of fun again and went to bed when Alfreds shut down.

The next day was Wednesday and we had massages scheduled at Jackees on the Reef. If you ever get the chance to do this please do, you will not regret it. It was way better than a massage in the states. We were so relaxed after that we went to sleep for a couple of hours and then went to Collettas to eat where a local Jamaican girl invited us out with her to srub a dub after roots bamboo finished. We took her up on her offer and had a blast. They put on quite a show. My friend will never forget that I'm sure!
