Aw shucks! And I was beginning to hope that there really are hidden spy cams in the rooms. I was looking forward to staying there, and then at checkout requesting a copy if it's really good.

I stayed at the Seastar Inn personally with my two daughters last summer, and I think that the entire story is a crock. Earlier there was another story, probably from the same sick and twisted individual, about all Americans and Canadians leaving the resort being checked at the airport for drugs as the hotel is a huge front for drug dealers. What this is really all about is one individual who has a grudge against the owner of Seastar because of some kind of falling out, and this is how he is taking it out on him. I think it is reprehensible myself.

The people who manage and work at the Seastar are the best, and the facility is clean, well run, and beautiful. It is a lovely place and very reasonably priced on the West End, and I hate to see them slandered in any way. People that spread vicious and unfounded rumors like this really piss me off.

I can vouch for Seastar too. Though not personal friends I have met the owners and people who frequent there and they are genuine people with a lovely place (ive recommended it on another thread for its lovely food). Would be a shame to miss out cos of some stupid rumour.

I went there in July 2009 for their Saturday night entertainment and I was greatly impressed with the laid back atmosphere and friendly surroundings. I will definitely stay there next time. Check out realnegril.com for their live webcast on Saturday nights.
