Re: Once upon a time, in a land far, far away . . .

I checked out of Grand Lido but decided to hang around on property for most of the day -- until we could make it up to the West End, to Rick's, to see the sunset.

Robert took Dawn, Todd, and I for a sail on a Hobie Cat. Believe it or not, Captain "Bob" was the cousin of "Farmer Bill", LOL!!!!

This is Robert and I . . .

thanks for the well-wishes! i got wedding on the brain constantly...i used to always say that i'd want to elope or have a destination wedding. and now i'm giddy and talk wedding all the time. a friend at work made me some beautiful flower girl baskets and you shoulda seen me jumping up and down and clapping when i saw it.

This is the sitting area of my room. It was a beautiful room. Besides the luxurious shower, there was also a flat screen TV on the wall. Talk about living it up!!!

I've stayed here 2x and know how spectacular the property is!!!!!!!

Anyway . . . here's Greg. Isn't he adorable?

So cute... and hey....my best girlfriend met and married her husband at the grand lido... they live here now...

Omar was so sweet!!! And man -- does that boi have a beautiful smile!!! He shook hands and introduced myself . . . and we chatted for a quick minute -- about MissB!!!! He readily agreed to let me take pics for MissB . . . and then we shook hands and parted.

Here he is, MissB! (By the way, there's proof I delivered the package -- he's holding it in his hand!!!!)

That's my guy! Love him!

Thanks Tia... I think he's adorable... that smile was the first thing that got me. But more importantly, he's got a great heart...and yes... he's a charmer too.... but in a quiet unassuming way... Someday I will post my trip report from when I met him... you think miss Lilly can write... I will give her a run for her money!

LW... You are my GIRL for life! Thank you sooooo much... you made my day with those pics... It's been 3 years since I have actually seen him... although we talk regularly!!!!!!!!! Sweet dreams for me. But seriously... you need to call me this weekend...maybe on Sunday night! And I'm not at all surprised that Omar agreed to let you take his pics for me... He's not camera shy AT ALL!

i totally didn't wanna hijack your trip report with wedding stuff but yup!!! i've already put a deposit on my dress and picked out flower girl dresses that actually match mine! i chose colors and then changed my mind (jc can fill you in on that, lol) and now i've settled on a new set of colors that will be much more complimentary to the various skin tones of my bridal party (peridot & latte). i've got 4 bridesmaids and a jr. bridesmaid. i'll be incorporating some filipino traditions so in addition to the ring bearer (my kid) i'll also have a coin bearer. i could talk about this stuff all night so i guess i better stop now. lol
