When we got to Kingston Dickey dropped me at my friend Erynn's house. She's been living there the last 2 years working for a Canadian organization. Her house was cute and locked up like Fort Knox!! I knew I only had a few hours in Kingston so we decided to go for lunch while waiting for Lucky to get off work.

I was shocked that Erynn was driving and even more surprised at how well she drives here! LOL. We decided to go to none other than TGI Friday's for lunch. It was the WEIRDEST THING being in an American restaurant with rock music and American food. Very strange. We talked a lot about home, things going on in our lives....we've been friends for about 8 years.

When lunch is finished we get on the phone to Lucky to figure out how we're gonna meet up. He said if we come downtown close to where he works we can find him. So we get there, call him up and start walkin up the street towards where he's at.

It was real nice to meet him in person. His personality in person is the exact same as on the phone, he seems like a bit of a joker to me. Me, him and Erynn only got to hang for about half an hour though because my ride was leaving Kingston around 6PM.

It was so unbelievable that I thought I should have a pic but I was even a bit scared to turn my eyes that way since I didn't know what kind of masacre I'd see inside the car.

I said to Dickey that we were extremely lucky because it appeared the accident had only JUST happened. A few minutes earlier we stopped to grab a drink, I thought what if we hadn't stopped? Would that have been us?

LOL this is one of the only pics I took in Kingston. We drove right by the Canadian embassy. Only the window was dirty and we were in motion so the pic sucks.

OMG!!! Those roads are crazy on the way to kingston...i have made that trip and people drive like maniacs......and the roads are winding and you have no idea waht is around the curve, but nobody slows down to find out they just keep going really fast, and th trucks take up the whole road, so if your coming the other way....oh well....even Danville was in an accident in a txi just the other day...thank God he is alright, a few peeps in te taxi were hurt pretty bad...including the driver.

Okay so after the day in Kingston and packing up the stuff Erynn wanted me to bring home for her, Dickey picks me up and we head back to Ochi. On the way back I took some video of the semi trucks navigating the jacked up mountain roads. When I get some time I'll download the video and post it. I thought it was most interesting to be stuck behind a semi watching how well they handle the roads.

I get back to my hotel, we call JMiss to let her know we did the day trip and Dickey and me say goodbye. He was a most excellent tour guide and awesome driver. I'd recommend him to anyone and have his number if anyone wants it.

WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dickey thought it was funny that I was filming those trucks. He said "if someone can drive a truck on these roads they can drive anywhere in the world!" I believe it. I really will post the video when I get a minute.

The evening I got back I had no plans. Cliff and Prince were both busy and I was tired. So I poured myself a drink and watched King Kong on TV. LOL. I actually dozed off until my mom called from home to tell me everythings fine and she went to visit my son. After talking to her for half an hour I was wide awake again.

So here's one of the coolest parts of my story. Since i spend a lot of time on my verandah I had noticed a few days before that the people in the room below me had Christmas lights up and decorations, their own boom box, etc. I actually thought it was someone who lived there or was staying an extended period. So tonight I thought, Imma go down there and see who these people are.

Turns out they're just 2 white ladies from Wisconsin, one of which this is her 31st trip to JA. The other one was her first time. I asked them if I could take a pic of their verandah for my trip report and they were the COOLEST CHICKS EVER!!!! They said sure, take as many as I like and then they invited me to stay and started pouring me overproof drinks. LMAO! These ladies had the perfect set up...so good that half the security staff was there drinking with us! LOLOL
