Alright Teach, alright. i know you been waitin on this.

AFter the internet cafe I went back to the hotel and literally had nothing more to do that day. So I went thru the phone list I brought with me to see who I hadn't called yet. Then I find the guy's number who Teach gave to me. Apparently he drove her around while she was down there and she said he's real nice and I should call him if I wanted someone to hang with.

I'd been hesitating because I felt weird just callin some guy up saying "I'm bored! Help me out!". (although I have no problem diggin them up on myspace. )

So I called Prince (you can see him in Teach's trip report too) and asked him what he was up to. Invited him over for a drink and a chat. He was in Mobay at the time so it would take him a couple hours. Finally the gate calls and says he's there. I said "send him in" and he has NO problems passing the front desk. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

So we sit outside on the verandah for a good long while sippin drinks and conversating. Now this guy can talk. I mean we had some awesome conversation and he's kinda quiet and sweet, even though Teach told me he was thuggish. LOL.

We took these pics SPECIFICALLY with Teach in mind. Enjoy them girl.

These kids hung out in town near the Scotia Bank I was going to every day. EVERY time I walk by they tell me they're in love with me and dis and dat. I always smile and walk by.

One day I had a bottle of coke in my hand, half finished. The one kid wants me to give it to him. I was about to walk on by like usual but instead I do an about face and go talk to them. They look kinda rough but just kids. I say "you want this bottle"? They say yes. So I said "for the bottle and $150J I want a picture then". They look like they could use the money so of course they agree, I snap the pic and they all get excited and crowd around the camera to see it.

I thank them and as I walk away one of them asks me to marry them

Alright that's it for today. Its almost 1AM and I been travelling for 24 hours! . Mi tiyad and grumpy.

I will continue on tomorrow starting with Kingston.

He is an awesome guy, I seem to recall you guys all made fun of him in my trip report, but I forgive you. Well at the time I posted my report I though he was really just a resort hustler, since August I have found out he is not that at all, he is a really good guy.

what a great read jc! your room is goregous. the verandah looks like a great place to chill. the little boys tryna be grown are hilarious...already going through pimp training i see.

cliff's scar is a real eye-opener. that doctor literally cut him in half to repair his lung! i've also heard that mederma can help. but i wonder how expensive it is. i thought about getting some a few years ago because i have several keloids and it was a bit pricey for me. hopefully it's cheaper now that it's been on the market for a few years.

can't wait to read the rest!

There are alternative brands out on the market now. However, it is not cheap...keep in mind that it is not just another antibiotic ointment, it actually does help with scaring (the sooner you use it the better). Tia, check out Walmart...they are usually the cheapest around.

Melissa this isn't the first time I've gone alone. And to tell you the truth, there's positives and negatives about both. With friends you find more to do, but alone there's less of an agenda. I like both.

Okay so Monday morning at 9AM Dickey picks me up for the drive to Kingston. This was the most interesting drive, the roads are winding, the potholes are a plenty...LOL. Here's a map, we hit all the towns in between...just didnt' stop. One of coolest places I saw was Walkerswood....cuz I usually buy all the Jamaican cooking gear named Walkerswood. I didn't know it was a town here also.
Driving through Fern Gully was BEAUTIFUL!! So much greenery and shade, it was nice and cool. Dickey's a real good tour guide too, he seems to know a lot about everything on this drive. We drove by the bauxite plant which stank...LAWD!!!! And drove thru Spanish Town. Unfortunately I took NO pics on the drive. I'm an eediat.

We saw the craziest accident, I think around Moneague. A car had run right under a semi truck. When we saw it the police hadn't even arrived yet so we know it JUST happened, there were people crowded around everywhere! I was actually gonna pull out my camera but thought it was kinda morbid.
