Ok soooo I get to the airport early for my flight cause I had to put my son on his flight to OKC..I figure I can go check my luggage cause Air Jamaica opens at 10 am right? Well I get there at 10:30 and this is what i see.........LOLOLOL Of cousre was I expecting anything different?.....When they finally opened they told me my flight was postponed till 3:00 and for my trouble I could have a 7 dollar food voucher......Wow!
While I was waiting there for all those hours i met a lovely Jamaican Grandmother, who shared her life sory with me, including pics and videos of all of her family, she said she was on her way back because she had been trying to reach her husband and he was not answering the phone, he had mentioned he wasn't feeling well and she was wondering if he went to the hospital, I hope eveything worked out for her.
Well....I got off to a delayed start and did not make it to JA until 8:00 in the evening. When I got off the plane at Sangster The Immigration man asked me how I was....I told him I was more tired than I had ever been in my life...gave him a smile and he stamped my stuff and sent me through with out ever discovering all the things he could have taxed me for....
When I came out the front of the Airport D was waiting for me and we left on the long drive home. When we got to his house he made me the most delicious fish dinner anyone could ever want.......We spent that evening on the roof of his apartment looking at the stars.......*sigh*
We got up early that next morning..around 7:00....he said "I want you to see my Jamaica, My home" Well who could argue with that. on the way out a quick photo of the veiw from D's porch
We got in the car and started driving...we came to this place that looked like it might be an old restaraunt that was closed up...we pulled off to take a pic from there cause it was pretty. Out comes this Indian man and he asked what we were doing.....we told him we wanted a pic cause it was pretty.....he invited us in to what turned out to be the most beautiful guest house I have seen. He showed us around and introduced us to everyone there....I think the name was "Blue Coral" I would mos def stay there...here are some pics from there
